Uno de los premios más importantes en el mundo de los videojuegos son los Video Game Awards de la cadena norteamericana Spike TV. Este año, sobretodo a finales de éste, han salido a la luz un gran número de juegos, juegos como: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Batman Arkham City, Uncharted 3: La traición de Drake, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword que inaugurará el Hall de la Fama de los VGA, estos son los llamados a salir victoriosos en los premios. Dejando de lado a los esperados Battlefield 3 y Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, que después del boom que supuso su lanzamiento están viendo como empiezan a desinflarse. Tambén se guarda sitio para la versión final de Minecraft, Bastion y NFS The Run.

Llegará cargado de sorpresas, podremos ver los proyectos del nuevo Alan Wake, se hablará de Metal Gear Solid: Rising,  podremos ver un nuevo gameplay de Bioshock: Infinite y el tráiler de Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

El mejor estudio del año se decidirá entre Bethesda, Naughty Dog, Rocksteady o Valve.
